• Below on the page you can find the USA Softball Age Chart for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U Softball.  We use USA Softball Age Chart due to a lot of state and local tournaments using this same chart for divisions in their tournaments.

·         Cost

• 8U: $60
• 10U & 12U: $110
• 14U: $120
• 16U:  Register with SESFA at https://www.sefsa.org/
   
• Late Fee:  $25

-  Availability on Rosters for Late Registrations: While we make every effort to accommodate late registrations, we cannot guarantee placement on a team due to team capacities and logistical considerations.

-  Team T-Shirts  for Late Registrations: We encourage all participants to register before the deadline to secure a team t-shirt. While we strive to provide t-shirts for all participants, availability may be limited for late registrants.

·         Games Will begin Mid to Late May

• Dates - Guaranteed Placement Deadline is March 4, 2024. The refund deadline is March 22, 2024. There will be a late fee of $20 if registration is received after 3/3/2024. Practices will begin in May and the season will run through mid-July. There will be no games over July 4th.

• Game Locations - The 8U teams will play most of their games in Harrisburg, Tea, and potentially in Lennox too. The 10U will play much of their games in Tea, with the potential of having some games in Lennox too.  12U & 14U teams will play most of their games in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area

Game Days:  A majority of 8U and 10U Softball games will be played on Mondays & Wednesdays.  12U and older will vary, those schedules are done SESFA.

• Practice – Practices will be in Tea.  We will work on a practice schedule after our Coaches Meeting.  We try to schedule 1 practice during the weekday, and during the weekend.

• Teams - Team placement is based on the number of girls registered in each age group. It’s very important to register before March 4, 2024 so we have an accurate count when determining number of teams. Late registration is not guaranteed.  12U & 14U teams will be a part of the Sioux Empire Fastpitch Softball Association and play against other recreational teams from around the area.

• Uniforms - Registration for 8U includes a t-shirt. Registration for ages 10U-14U includes a jersey. White pants are suggested for uniforms and can be purchased at most sporting goods stores. Jerseys require a $40 returnable deposit and are returned to Park and Recreation at the end of the season.
